Mathematics in TechEditor

In TechEditor, you can do mathematical calculations in different ways. Additionally, you can use different units of measurement.

Units of Measurement

Examples of physical quantities are: mass, time, electric current and so on.

Mathematics in Report

TechEditor users can add math blocks directly to a text report. Typically, math objects use to define variables, functions, or output their values. Math Formula is an object to represent mathematical equations as LaTeX insertions. It has many settings and can display mathematical formulas in any output style. In addition, the user can see the values of each formula's parameter with one click.

Math Object

To insert a math object into a report, click Automation tab > Math > Math Object command:
